Tic Tac’s latest fruity flavour is apple burst, available to impulse retailers from this month and to grocery retailers later in the year.
Fifty five per cent of Tic Tac value sales go through the impulse channel, which is why impulse retailers will have the chance to cash in on this earlier availability.
The launch of apple burst follows the strong performance of Tic Tac’s recent additions: cherry passion and strawberry fields. These flavours have achieved huge growth in the past two years and now account for 33% of total brand sales (Nielsen data).
Apple burst comes in an 18g single pack, rrp 55p and 49g 100-pack, rrp £1.25. The launch will benefit from a £3.6m media spend investment in the wider Tic Tac brand, which includes TV advertising.
