To celebrate its 100th birthday, Butterkist is hiding golden birthday cards inside selected promotional bags of its 100g and 200g toffee, 85g and 120g cinema sweet, 100g sweet & salted, 80g salted and 150g sweet popcorn.
Those consumers who find a gold card have to enter the code inside on the Butterkist website or Facebook page to see what prize they’ve won. Prizes range from £5 to £100 in value but everyone who buys a promotional pack gets a 50p-off-next-purchase voucher.
At the same time as the promotion, there is a 150g limited-edition pack of salted caramel popcorn. Air popped and made from wholegrain, it contains 104 calories per serving. Recommended retail price is £1.49.
