Coca-Cola Enterprises (CCE) has launched new Relentless Shots. Providing the same amount of energy as 250ml of regular Relentless, CCE says each 50ml Shot contains 80mg of caffeine as well as vitamins B6 and B12.
The UK energy category is now valued at £535m and is the fastest-growing sector, at a
rate of over 5.8% year-on-year (AC Nielsen data to w/e May 5, 2009).
Meanwhile, CCE has launched an on-pack promotion that gives consumers 50p of mobile phone credit on selected cans and bottles. The offer applies to promotional packs of Fanta, Dr Pepper and Sprite and is aimed at the core teen audience. CCE is also featuring the promotion at the end of the latest Dr Pepper TV ad campaign.
