Ferrero is moving into the biscuit category with the launch of Kinder Happy Hippo for kids.
The individually wrapped 3D hippo-shaped wafer biscuit has a creamy milk and hazelnut filling and targets children aged between five and 10, and their parents.
A £3m marketing support package includes two four-week bursts of TV advertising in May and September.
Kinder Happy Hippo is available in two formats: a single pack for 20p and a multipack of five for 95p. The impulse pack should be merchandised with other
childrens’ confectionery products.
