Germolene is continuing its forecourt sales push by offering five more retailers £50-worth of product to sell in their stores.

The antiseptic cream, made by Bayer Consumer Care, is now available in a new laminate tube designed to prevent cracking and mess.

Bayer says the product is a first-aid essential for all the family, and the only dual-action cream which combines an antiseptic to help prevent infections and a soothing local anaesthetic effect to numb pain.

A spokesman says: "Since minor injuries and skin irritations are an inevitable part of everyday life, consumers will find the accessibility of Germolene a valuable addition to forecourts."

The 30g tube has a rrp of £1.60.
