Ginsters is launching a three-strong range of premium ready meals. The three varieties are beef & peppered dumplings, pasta bolognese and chicken tikka & rice, all with a rrp of £2.99.

The products enter the £1.9bn ready meals market, which Ginsters says is growing at 3.8%.

The products use top quality British ingredients and can be microwaved in four minutes.

Clear packaging has been designed to allow visibility of the fresh ingredients used.

The launch is part of Ginsters’ rebranding of its whole portfolio.

The ’Ginsters of Cornwall’ logo will now appear prominently on all packaging with the brand taking on a bold new look featuring the Cornish flag. The relaunch, which aims to show that the company uses high-quality, locally-sourced ingredients, will be supported by a £6.5m marketing campaign.
