Diageo is investing £3m in promoting Guinness and St Patrick’s Day in stores.
This year, St. Patrick’s Day (March 17) falls on a Monday, and follows a huge weekend in sport - highlights include Guinness Premiership rugby, the final day of the RBS Six Nations and the Cheltenham Gold Cup.
POS materials are available to create in-store theatre. There is also a ’text to win’ competition for Ultimate Guinness Experiences and a ’two packs for £7.50’ offer on Guinness Draught four- and six-packs exclusive to the convenience channel.
