Hooper’s is entering the growing alcoholic RTS (ready to serve) can market with Dandelion & Burdock. The new format gives the traditional British favourite a modern twist in a more convenient, non-glass serve.
The glossy can highlights the provenance of its ingredients, including hand-picked English dandelions and burdock thistle roots.
According to Nielsen data, RTS cans are currently the fastest- growing format in the RTD (ready to drink) category, having grown by £9.4m in the past year and now worth £115m.
Apparently the trend is driven by a more mature consumer looking for a new, convenient way to enjoy alcohol.
