Patak’s has undergone an extensive programme of new product development in a bid to bring fresh inspiration to the Indian foods category and bring the sector back to double-digit growth.
New Quick-cook sauces, flavoured wraps, frozen ready meals, luxury sauces and an Indian meal for one join the existing range.
Spice Express quick-cook sauces (rrp £1.49 per jar) come in five flavours – Kashmiri Chilli & Red Pepper, Spicy Tikka, Roasted Garlic & Coriander, Smoked Paprika & Spinach, and Indian Five Spices.
There are four varieties of wraps – Garlic & Herb, Tikka, Spicy Chilli, and Plain. Rrp is £1.19 for six.
Chicken Tikka Biriyani and Chicken Rogan Josh will join the range of frozen meals in September. Rrp is £1.99.
Available from August, the frozen Indian Banquet For One (rrp £2.49), comprises a Chicken Tikka Masala, pilau rice, naan bread and Bombay potatoes.
