A range of delivery-style pizzas has been launched under Schwann’s Chicago Town brand.
TakeAway Original Pizza has been designed to reflect the variants on a real takeaway menu and includes individual and sharing sizes.
All the products contain fresh dough and can be cooked in 35 minutes.
The launch is supported by a ’taste guarantee’ promotion on two million packs, with the promise ’as good as your usual takeaway or your money back’.
Nicola Kenyon, brand manager for Chicago Town, says: "We are challenging the home-delivery market with this range and aim to bring a portion of the £700m takeaway pizza market into the frozen category."
