Fans of Simon Cowell may get the chance to see their idol in the flesh thanks to a promotion by Pot Noodle.

The snack brand has teamed up with the hit TV show X Factor to run an on-pack instant win offer.

Consumers have a one in six chance of winning X Factor-related prizes, including VIP tickets to each week’s show.

The competition will run across the top four Pot Noodle standard varieties - chicken & mushroom, beef & tomato, original curry and Chinese chow mein - from September.

The promotion is part of a relaunch by Unilever UK. The relaunch also includes the addition of three new flavours to the range: tikka masala, chicken satay and lamb hot pot; cutting salt by 50% and revamping packaging - all backed by an advertising campaign.
