Evian, the water brand from Danone, has extended its partnership with The All England Lawn Tennis Club (AELTC) for another five years, so it will remain the Official Bottled Water Supplier to The Championships, Wimbledon until at least 2022.

In addition to quenching the thirst of the players and thousands of spectators every year, Evian will continue to use the partnership to bring its Live young-philosophy to fans of the tennis tournament.

Bryan Martins, marketing director at Danone Waters UK & Ireland, explained: “Our association with tennis is central to our long-term brand strategy and our partnership with The Championships is integral to this. Both evian and Wimbledon are iconic brands with strong personalities.

“We believe that our relationship has been so successful for the past nine years because we work very hard to develop campaigns that strike the right balance between both: celebrating Wimbledon’s traditions but looking at them through our Live young lens.

“Our wimblewatch programme is a great example of this, bringing behind-the-scenes content to Wimbledon fans through social media. We’re now looking forward to developing ways of taking the evian/Wimbledon experience to the next level every year.
