Imperial Tobacco has unveiled the Gold Leaf Ice Pack, which is arriving in the independent channel from 1 July.
Ice Pack takes its inspiration from the success of the current Gold Leaf 30g Handy Pack, but features mentholated tips – which Imperial claims is a first for the category.
The Ice Pack comprises:
• 30g pouch of Gold Leaf rolling tobacco;
• 2 x 40 Rizla Regular Green cigarette papers; and
• 72 Rizla ultra slim menthol filter tips.
Brand manager Jamie-Burns Smith commented: “Gold Leaf’s rise has been momentous. Since its launch in 2007 it’s become Imperial’s largest RYO brand and the UK’s bestselling economy RYO, with a current overall sector share of 18%.
The unique composition of Ice Pack – with its bundled menthol filter tips – demonstrates the brand’s continued commitment to innovation, ensuring we meet the needs of modern adult smokers. We’re confident our retailers will agree.”
The RRP of Gold Leaf Ice Pack is £11.00, the same price as a standard Gold Leaf 30g Handy Pack.
