JTI’s lowest priced cigarette brand, B&H Blue, will be available in 17s from the start of February across King Size and Superkings Blue and Sky Blue variants. The new packs will have an RRP of £5.99.
Launched as an extension to the Benson and Hedges House in 2014, B&H Blue is made from a blend of Virginia tobacco and currently holds a 5% share of the combined Super Value segments.
Jeremy Blackburn, JTI head of communications, comments: “The trend towards value cigarettes is still going strong, and as JTI’s cheapest cigarette brand, B&H Blue is a must stock for any retailer looking to capitalise on this sales opportunity. JTI is committed to providing its customers with exceptional value and the mix of B&H brand heritage with such a competitive price point is a recipe for success.”
As well as the launch of 17s, JTI is also offering wholesale deals in February on B&H Blue and Sky Blue variants which will be highlighted on point of sale material in cash and carry tobacco rooms.
There will also be adverts in the trade media containing unique promotional codes to be entered online at JTI Advance for the chance to win £100 worth of Amber Leaf stock.
