Imperial Tobacco is launching L&B Blue ‘Ice Capsule’ nationwide from 1st September.
It will be available in both King Size 19s and 10s and positioned in the economy sector of the factory made cigarette (FMC) category.
Ice Capsule combines the taste of a Virginia tobacco blend with a capsule in the filter that releases a burst of fresh flavour.
Imperial Tobacco brand manager Madeleine Pearce comments: “Capsules have caught the imagination of adult smokers and claimed an impressive FMC market share of almost 8.5%. Ice Capsule therefore represents another important addition to the L&B Blue family, whose segment of the economy sector has soared to 21.5% since its launch last year.
“Adult smokers will enjoy the cigarette’s smooth taste and flavour, combined with the choice to instantly transform their smoking experience – while retailers can enjoy impressive Profit on Return rates of 6.30% on 19s and 6.48% on 10s respectively.”
The RRP for L&B Blue Ice Capsule King Size 19s is £6.89, and £3.78 for King Size 10s. Both are also available in price-marked packs, while stocks last.
