Mars Chocolate is extending its portfolio of price-marked packs (PMPs) to include an additional six products to its current offering which includes Maltesers and M&M’S treat bags, and Galaxy sharing blocks.

The new additions to Mars’ range of PMPs includes Mars, Snickers, Twix, Bounty and Maltesers singles - all of which will be available for an RRP of 50p - as well as a Maltesers Teasers single which will be released in the new year. The new PMPs will sit alongside Mars’ popular standard range of chocolate confectionery.

Bep Dhaliwal, trade communications manager, Mars Chocolate UK, says: “We’re excited to continue to grow our range of price-marked packs with the addition some of our best sellers. Retailers not only see PMPs as better value for themselves and their customers, but also as a key footfall driver, attracting more shoppers to store and ultimately generating sales growth.

“As shoppers continue to look for the best deals on their favourite chocolate confectionery, price-marked packs account for 60% of sales at independent stores and we expect to see this trend rise again in 2016.”

A range of POS and display solutions including standees, aisle flags and shelf barkers to support the launch of the PMPs will be available from February next year.
