Smint has unveiled a new offering as part of its on-going partnership with Breast Cancer Care. From October, Smint Strawberry Mix will take over as the brand’s signature charity product, with a donation being made to this cause from the sale of each pack.
Smint has partnered with Breast Cancer Care since 2011 and has already raised over £100,000 for the charity. Each year a different flavour is chosen to front the campaign and following the previous success of Smint 2 in 1 and Smint Strawberry, 2015 sees Strawberry Mix, a new fresh and fruity flavour take the limelight.
Smint will donate 5p from each pack (RRP: £1.15) sold to Breast Cancer Care. Shoppers will be aware of the promotion thanks to on-pack branding, highlighting the charity.
Product manager at Smint, Shankar Iyer commented: “This is the fourth year we have worked with Breast Cancer Care and we’re delighted to continue our partnership. We’re committed to supporting retailers taking stock of the product and raise awareness of our new Smint Strawberry Mix pack with their customers.
“This new pack consists of a mixture of sweet and sour pastilles in a unique fluorescent dispenser and fits very well with Breast Cancer Care charity association. We are confident that this year will see us make another significant donation to a very worthy cause and it’s also a great way for us to raise further awareness of our fruity sugar-free flavours.”
