Tangerine Confectionery is expanding the sugar confectionery brand, Candyland, with the introduction of a new mini bon bon product.
The new Candyland Refresher Fizz Bombs (140g, RRP £1), launching in October, take the classic elements of traditional Refresher sweets, and applies them to a new product format.
Each pack will contain four flavours of mini bon bons, Raspberry, Lemon, Lime and Orange, each with a sherbet centre. The bon bons replicate the original Refreshers product with fresh, pastel colours, while the pack has also been designed utilising the Refresher branding.
Sarah Brown, senior brand manager at Candyland, commented: “Our Refresher product is one of our biggest selling kid’s singles items, and consumers have a real affection for the brand.
“The bon bon market is currently growing at 60% year on year, so by combining the two we are creating a product that is guaranteed to spark interest with consumers. The sharing bag is also competitively priced at £1, making it excellent value for money.”
