Juice brand Tropicana is introducing a new offer for the brand intended to help retailers capitalise on the growing trend for convenient breakfast top ups and meeting the needs of shoppers’ emerging morning habits.
Morning Boost – a smoothie containing fruit juice, fruit purée and cereals – will be rolling out across all channels from the beginning of March.
The new range will be available in Apple & Pear, Orange, Banana & Mango, and Forest Fruit flavours in a 750ml size with an Rrp of £2.99. Orange and Banana & Mango will also be available in an on-the-go 330ml (Rrp: £1.99) format.
Sophie Giraudel, brand manager for Tropicana, commented: “Our innovative new Morning Boost smoothie does exactly what it says on the bottle, giving people a convenient format for a convenient and delicious boost in the morning, which can be enjoyed at home, on route to work or as a mid-morning snack – with all the goodness of juice but features cereal too. It performed incredibly well in consumer testing, with 88% of people stating that they intend to purchase the product because of the perfect consistency making it easy to drink.
“People are becoming busier in their daily lives and don’t always have time to prepare a full breakfast, our 750ml size offers a great option to add to your breakfast at home or at work and the 330ml size is perfect for an on-the-go top-up, a growing trend that is set to continue.
