Walkers is extending its Max range with the exciting addition of a new Flamin’ Hot flavour.
Walkers Max is an impulse exclusive range for independent retailers and the new Flamin’ Hot pack will sit alongside the existing Cheese & Onion and Paprika flavours.
“At PepsiCo we’ve kick-started 2015 by supporting independent retailers with some exciting activity and launches exclusive to the impulse channel,” said Matt Goddard, field sales director at PepsiCo. “In January we extended our 39p Value Snacks range with Monster Munch and now we are adding excitement to the Max range with Flamin’ Hot.
“Walkers Max is completely exclusive to impulse; the popular range offers good value and great tasting products for consumers wanting a delicious snack on the go. Single serve snacks currently account for one third of the crisps, snacks and nuts sales in impulse and at Walkers we’re committed to developing innovative products and flavours to add excitement and further sales for retailers while driving category growth.”
To help impulse retailers capitalise on sales offered by the new Walkers Max Flamin’ Hot flavour, Walkers is producing a three-case Max stacker for all the packs within the range. There will also be in-store PoS and display materials to help engage with shoppers to boost sales. Walkers Max packs have an RRP of £0.79p (50g).
