Warburtons is celebrating its 140th anniversary with a gold flash that will appear on selected packaging of its bakery products, including Warburtons Toastie loaf, standard Crumpets, Seeded Batch, White Rolls and Sandwich Thins.
The new flash coincides with a modernised pack design which Warburtons is rolling out across its core range in 2016, and will continue into next year.
Jonathan Warburton, chairman of Warburtons, comments: “From the moment [the founders] Thomas and Ellen sold their very first loaf, we’ve strived to make sure each of our products is created to a gold standard of unbeatable quality, and we’re extremely proud to have provided five generations of UK families with a wide range of baked goods everyone can enjoy.
“But our family business isn’t just about creating top-selling, quality baked products. It’s also about teamwork, and after 140 years, it’s still the support of our people and our customers that really keeps us thriving.”
In addition to the changes on pack, Warburtons is also celebrating the occasion with communications and social media campaign, which will go live in June.
