Weight Watchers UK isbringing classic flavours to the low calorie biscuit category with two new cream biscuits - Bourbon Creams, containing Belgian chocolate and cocoa cream - and Custard Creams, containing Madagascan vanilla and cream filling.
Weight Watchers Bourbon Creams and Custard Creams are a twist on the traditional ‘sandwich style’ cream biscuits. They consist of one biscuit base with a layer of chocolate or vanilla cream along the centre, while still keeping the traditional markings of the classic design.
A reflection of the emerging trend for nostalgic foods and beverages and responding to the increasing consumer demands for healthier alternatives to traditional sweet snacking products, the new Weight Watchers Bourbon Creams and Custard Creams are the latest NPD development from Walkers Shortbread, which manufactures the Weight Watchers Cookies and Biscuits range under licence.
