Wrigley’s successful Extra sugarfree gum bottle range is expanding with the launch of Extra Cool Breeze 60 pellet bottles.
Following the performance of Extra 46 and 60 pellet bottles across some of its best-selling flavours, including Peppermint, Spearmint and Extra White Bubblemint, Wrigley is extending the range with one of its top performing flavours within the single 10 pellet pack range.
Currently the fourth bestselling single format in the Extra portfolio, Extra Cool Breeze will be transformed into Wrigley’s popular bottle format to tap into consumer demand for increased format varieties to suit every gum usage occasion.
Julio Guijarro, Wrigley marketing director for GB and Ireland, commented: “We’re seeing an increased demand from consumers for our larger pack formats as they look for value and avoid being ‘out of stock’ while on-the-move. The launch of our Extra Cool Breeze flavour in the popular bottle format gives consumers even more choice, and helps retailers extend their range of gum to increase sales in a highly impulsive category.”
The launch will be supported with a variety of dedicated POS material for both retailers and wholesalers.
