Value cigarette brand Royals has been relaunched with a more modern image by British American Tobacco (BAT UK).
New-look packs sport a striking contemporary design aimed at making the brand more relevant to today’s adult smoker. The Royals letter ‘R’ gives instant brand recognition and complements an updated colour scheme.
A senior BAT UK brand manager said: “The whole cigarette category is changing. The value-for-money category is attracting over 800 new customers a day. Updated Royals will help retailers take advantage of that.”
New packs are available now in 10s, 20s and 24s. A dedicated field trade marketing team is working on the launch.
