
Country Choice is getting into the Christmas spirit with a festive range that includes the addition of two new sweet treats and four savouries.
There is a Salted Caramel Cupcake with a caramel-flavoured sponge topped with a whirl of salted caramel icing, sugar crunch and chocolate star. And a Boston’s Chocolate Orange Doughnut pairs rich chocolate icing with an orange flavour. It is topped with a chocolate orange segment.
They join a line-up of returning festive favourites including the Christmas Snowman Cupcake, Iced Ginger Sponge, Gingerbread Reindeer, Chocolate Yule Cake, and the ever-popular mince pies, available in three sizes.
Savoury newcomers include: The Jerk Turkey Bake, described as bringing a ”Caribbean twist to the season”, blending sweet and spicy jerk flavours with mango chutney and cranberry sauce.
There is a Festive Bake with a combination of chicken, sage and onion stuffing, and cranberries in a creamy sauce, encased in golden puff pastry.
For those seeking something “hearty and rich”, there is the Festive Sausage Roll with seasoned pork, turkey, smoked pancetta, and cranberries with sage and onion stuffing.
And completing the new line-up, is a vegetarian-friendly Caramelised Onion & Camembert Tart with caramelised red onion chutney topped with creamy Camembert sauce and a sprinkle of parsley on a puff pastry base.
These new products complement established favourites such as the Pigs Under Blankets Toastie, Brie & Cranberry Ciabatta, Steak & Cheese Bar, and Brie & Port Cranberry Turnover.
