Barny, the bear-shaped sponge snack by Mondelēz International, will be returning to the small screen this month.
The premise of the advert is that Barny fuels small discoveries and aims to provide mums with information on the product specifics and ingredients, while taking them on a fantastical adventure in an imaginary world.
The 30-second advert will be on TV and video on demand (VOD) until 23 August alongside top TV shows and will be seen by six million people.
Mondelēz says the launch of Barny in 2013 was widely supported in all major retailers, and it is now available to nationwide.
Each snack comes in a convenient individually wrapped portion and contains no artificial colours or preservatives. Barny is available in a 150g multipack RRP £1.69, in 4 variants – chocolate, milk and the newly launched Strawberry and Apple.
A 30g format was launched in May, designed for the convenience channel and on-the-go snacking.
