Following the successful introduction of its Squeeze & Stir cup soup range last year, Heinz is launching two new varieties as well as its first multipack. Heinz Squeeze & Stir comes in handy, squeezable sachets with a recommended retail price (rrp) of 59p.

All consumers need to do is squeeze the soup into a mug, add boiling water and stir.

The new chicken & vegetable and mushroom & parsley soups are, according to AC Nielsen data, among the top-selling flavours in dry soups. The new multipack is a three-sachet pack of cream of tomato. Rrp is £1.59.

Squeeze & Stir is backed by a £1.5m media campaign.

AC Nielsen figures show that Heinz has a 37.8% share of the £611m soup market. In the £341m wet ambient soups sub-sector, Heinz has a 66% market share.
