New Volvic Revive is a water-based energy drink with no added sugar but added plant extracts including ginseng and guarana.
It comes in citrus kick and berry blast flavours, in 50cl bottles with a convenient sports cap.
Steve Flanagan, category strategy manager at brand owners Danone, says Revive not only hydrates but it increases altertness making it "the perfect solution for those on the go looking for a refreshing pick-me-up."
At the same time, Danone is relaunching Volvic Touch of Fruit. From this month, it is available in original or sugar-free variants in flavours including lemon & lime, orange & peach and strawberry.
Volvic is backed by a £7m marketing campaign during 2007 including a new TV commercial featuring Alan, a talking T-rex, and an ’educating volcano’ called George.
