TV presenter Colin Murray is to host the Forecourt Trader Awards on October 8.
The Northern Irishman and three-time Sony Gold winner is best known for presenting Channel 4 quiz show Countdown and his BBC Radio 5 Live show on Sunday mornings. He previously hosted Match of the Day 2 and the BDO World Darts Championships.
Murray joins a list of personalities who have fronted the awards in recent years, including Dan Walker and Ben Shephard.
The Forecourt Trader Awards, held in London’s Park Plaza Westminster hotel and sponsored by Booker, are the high point of the industry calendar. On the night, 26 winners, including the overall Forecourt Trader of the Year, will be announced.
