Staff at Lynch’s Eurospar Greysteel in Derry got a special treat last week when Hollywood actor Bill Murray popped into the store.
The Ghostbusters, Groundhog Day and Scrooged actor asked a member of staff to direct him to the bathroom.
After Murray’s bathroom visit, having realised who the customer was, deli counter staff asked for photographs.
A member of staff who didn’t want to be named told Forecourt Trader: “He was lovely and he got his brother to take pictures of him with us. It created some excitement but was all over very quickly.”
On the Eurospar’s Facebook page, the photo of Murray with staff was posted along with the caption: “Just a typical day at Lynch’s Eurospar Greysteel.”
