Euro Garages has opened a new Spar convenience store and petrol station at Haddington, East Lothian in Scotland.
The site, on a former commerce park and petrol filling station, comprises a forecourt with a canopy and 3,000sqft Spar convenience store with parking for 12 vehicles including two charging points for electric vehicles.
Work on the site started in November last year and the store, which is is serviced by Dundee-based Spar wholesaler CJ Lang & Son, officially opened on 23 June.
The forecourt site offers a number of services including Leon coffee, Greggs, external ATM, paypoint and lottery. It has dedicated parking for shoppers as well as eight lanes, and is open 24 hours, 7 days a week. Fresh produce and free Wi-Fi further enhance the offering in-store.
CJ Lang & Son wholesale sales director Steven Irons said: “We are delighted to open a new Spar store on the outskirts of Haddington in East Lothian. It is a great big store offering local shoppers and those passing through the area an excellent range of products and services.”
