Extra MSA has opened its sixth German Doner Kebab (GDK) concession, and its first to use robotic shavers.
Its Beaconsfield Services, on the M40 London-Oxford-Birmingham corridor, has gone live with the halal-friendly made-to-order kebab brand, known for its waffle bread, sides, and sweet treats.
Simon Wallis, chief executive of GDK, describes the automated technology as “a big step forward in how we deliver speed, precision and consistency”.
He adds: “As we continue to grow across the UK, openings like this allow us to bring fresh, flavour-packed menu to even more customers, wherever they are, whether that’s on the high street or on the move.”
Extra MSA is currently the only motorway service operator that has teamed up with GDK, with the partnership launching at Baldock in 2023.
