Humberside Police are appealing for information after a man died after crashing into a building at Pocklington Services in Barmby Moor, York, in the early hours of Monday, December 29.
It is reported that just after midnight a white Ford Mondeo was travelling along Broadhelm Business Park when it left the road and collided with a building.
Emergency services were called but the driver of the car, a 47-year-old man, sustained fatal injuries and died at the scene.
The road was closed to allow emergency services to work effectively; it has since been reopened.
Humberside Police said: “We are appealing to anyone who was in the area around the time of the collision, or anyone who has CCTV or dashcam footage that may assist with our enquiries to please contact us on our non-emergency number 101, quoting log 5 of 29 December 2025.”
