Motorway services operator Moto has been named one of the UK’s best places to work for the second year running.

Moto – the UK’s biggest motorway services area (MSA) provider with 59 sites – is one of 26 businesses with over 2,000 employees singled out in the annual survey by The Times and Sunday Times. In total, 500 large, medium and small companies are listed.

Bedfordshire-based Moto is praised for its internal talent programme – with more than half its senior leaders rising through the ranks – and policy on diversity: women make up three in five executives at the 6,200-employee firm. A bonus scheme, staff discounts, and long-service awards also contribute to levels of staff satisfaction, says the newspaper.

“We’re incredibly proud to be recognised with this phenomenal accolade which is a true testament to the shared commitment across our business to making Moto a fantastic place to work,” says the company. “At the heart of our success is a people-first culture that not only delivers exceptional service to our customers but also supports and celebrates over 6,000 colleagues nationwide.”
