Oil supplier Murco has reached a milestone with 201 dealer sites in place nationwide, and more to follow in the coming months.
The brand, which is over 60 years-old, first arrived in the UK in 1960, and became part of Motor Fuel Group (MFG) in 2014.
Earlier this month, Murco won plaudits among forecourt operators for being the first major forecourt brand to step forward to offer short-term contracts to help Harvest Energy dealers who had been left to source expensive fuel on the spot market, following the appointment of liquidators at the Prax Lindsey Oil Refinery.
It prides itself on its ”commitment to delivering competitive, reliable and flexible fuel supply”, says its director, dealer operations Craig Nugent.
“Murco has always been known for the flexibility of our supply and the level of service and support we give to our dealers,” he says. ”In the past two to three years, it is the strength of MFG, the launch of our Murco Connect dealer support package and the dedication of our hard-working dealer field team that have really made the difference.”
He adds: “In today’s volatile marketplace, Murco’s supply and support offer will continue to attract dealers to our network. Our brand is strong, our commitment to growth is clear and I look forward to welcoming many more dealers to Murco in the months ahead.”
