A man has been arrested after two pedestrians were allegedly hit by a car at the Esso Rontec Kingscroft forecourt in Leatherhead in the early hours of Saturday morning (October 21).
According to Surrey Live, the incident happened at around 2.30am after a “verbal altercation” and a teenager has been arrested.
An 18-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of attempt GBH, dangerous driving, failing to stop for police, failing to report an injury collision, no insurance and being unfit to drive through drink/drugs.
Sergeant Faye Burgess told Surrey Live: “We are carrying out a number of enquiries to identify the people involved in the incident as it is believed they may have been injured. We would also like to speak to anyone who saw what happened or can provide any other information as this will help us to establish what happened.”
She added that there was going to be an increased police presence in the area over the weekend.
