Welcome Break team members take part in Keep Britain Tidy litter clearance campaign

Welcome Break has kicked off the Great British Spring Clean this week, a two-week long campaign organised by Keep Britain Tidy that aims to clear the litter from the UK’s streets.

Welcome Break team members will be tackling rubbish from around its 44 service areas, alongside thousands of volunteers who have pledged to take part across the country during this national litter picking campaign.

Commenting, John Diviney, CEO at Welcome Break said: “At Welcome Break, we place great importance on supporting the communities in which we operate and try to ensure our team members can contribute to our local areas.

“Over the past 12 months, our outdoor spaces have become more important than ever, so we are delighted to join this national effort to show some love to the special places that helped us through lockdown, all while supporting local communities.”
