Top 50 Indie EG On The Move has been named as the forecourt operator providing refuelling services at a new £20m development proposed for the A90 trunk road in Perthshire, Scotland.
The project is being led by Horn Developments, a subsidiary of property firm Ashfield Land. If approved by local authorities, the services will span 15 acres and feature a new forecourt, shop and car wash run by EGOTM. A 60-room hotel, an EV charging hub, three restaurants, HGV overnight parking and a two megawatt solar farm will also be built.
A new spine road linking the project with the A90 between Perth and Dundee will be required for the services, which is expected to create 200 jobs, and will serve some of the 35,000 vehicles that pass the site each day.
