The raid took place last week

Two men have been arrested following a raid on a hand car wash in Dorset.

Officers from the Home Office and Dorset police visited Ferndown Hand Car Wash last week. One man from Iraq and another from Afghanistan were arrested for working in breach of their bail conditions.

Home Office officials have stepped up the number of visits and arrests they have made of late, with a 38% rise in both between July 2024 and January 2025, from 3,932 visits to 5,424.

January 2025 alone saw Home Office immigration staff visit 828 premises, up from 556 in the same month the previous year.
