Planning consent is being sought to implement a range of upgrades at an Esso liveried forecourt in Hatfield, Hertfordshire.
The MFG site between Hatfield and Potters Bar is currently home to a hand car wash to the rear of the site shop, but plans submitted to Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council reveal the forecourt’s owners are seeking to extend the shop to cover the area previously occupied by this.
The refurbishment of the Bell Bar service station on the Great North Road would also see the demolition of a bungalow to the rear of the forecourt, with two jet-wash bays constructed in its place.
A fenced bin store, a new floodlight and a new plant room will also be installed if the plans are approved.
