The canopy and shop (seen in May this year) have since been demolished, and the new services is near completion

MFG is set to reopen a filling station on the A10 following a knock-down rebuild that has comprehensively redeveloped the site.

Stonecross Services sits between Ely, Cambridgeshire, and King’s Lynn, Norfolk, and previously comprised a standard forecourt-plus-shop configuration.

The redevelopment will bring with it significantly upgraded facilities. The new shop will have a far larger footprint than before, wearing a Budgens fascia while playing host to Pret a Manger and Greggs concessions.

MFG has also installed a new valeting hub with three jet-wash bays, and is continuing its EV charging expansion with seven ultra-rapid bays at the site.

Fuel will continue to be supplied by Esso, and the new services is due to open this week.
