Raw Charging, which specialises in destination devices at leisure and retail hubs, has opened a 14-bay EV charging station at a retail park in Chichester.
The firm says the Chichester Gate Leisure Park hub is the largest in the county, with the new facility comprising six 22kW bays, four 150kW ones and four 300kW spaces.
The project is the product of a partnership between Raw and asset-management firm Aberdeen, which has so far seen 135 charging spots installed at various retail and hospitality locations.
Jason Simpson, Raw’s chief executive, describes Chichester Gate Leisure Park as a “flagship destination in West Sussex”, while Aberdeen asset manager Michael Clements says the new facility “enhances the visitor experience” and makes the retail park “future-ready for the growing number of EV drivers”.
