Independent forecourt operator Goran Raven is offering drivers a 4ppl discount on fuel if they spend £30 in store at his Shell-liveried forecourt in Abridge, Essex.
The offer comes in response to fuel prices, which have been subject to significant volatility since the Iranian conflict began in at the end of February. It follows a similar offer recently introduced by Tesco that gives drivers a 5% discount on fuel if they spend £60 or more in store.
A litre of unleaded currently costs an average of 161.87p according the government’s Fuel Finder database, while diesel is 182.11p, and super unleaded stands at 178.65p.
Drivers wanting to take advantage of Raven’s offer must spend £30 or more in store, excluding tobacco, lottery and baby milk, before receiving a voucher that is valid for 14 days, and can be used when they next fill up.
