Raw Charging, which specialises on destination charging at supermarkets, leisure centres and the like, has opened a new 22-bay charging hub – said to be Wolverhampton’s largest of its kind – at the Bentley Bridge Retail Park.
Raw has been undertaking a significant expansion project of late, signing a £24.5m, 20-year deal back in March with commercial property firm Landsec to roll out 1,000 charging bays across the latter’s retail portfolio, and later agreeing an £11m deal to install chargers at 26 B&Q stores.
The Bentley Bridge hub is the latest project to have been completed as part of the Landsec agreement, with the new facility comprising 16 ultra-rapid (150kW+) bays, together with two rapid (50kW+) spots and four slower AC spaces.
