VST Forecourts, which entered Forecourt Trader’s Top 50 Indies listing last year and operates 10 sites, has brought a previously defunct filling station near Grimsby, Lincolnshire, back into the sector.
Porters Garage in Waltham, a village just south of the coastal town, had been in disuse for “some time” before VST acquired and rejuvenated it, installing new pumps and refitting the site’s Londis convenience store, with further development planned within the next two years.

VST boss Vijay Jaganathan opted to go with Jet for the Grimsby site’s fuel supply after being recommended the brand by a fellow forecourt operator.
“Jet came recommended to us at the right time, and that counted for a lot,” he explains, adding that “confidence in the relationship and the support on offer helped shape the decision” to go with the Phillips 66-owned brand.
Earlier in the year we reported how VST Forecourts was the first operator to adopt ‘Budgens &’ branding for another of its sites, while towards the end of 2025 the company acquired a Devon filling station complete with its own commercial kitchen, which is used to prepare food for other PFS in Jaganathan’s portfolio.
