MSA firm started its charitable fund in 2023, and is now seeking new partners

Motorway services operator Welcome Break is on the lookout for a new charitable partner for its operations in Great Britain and Northern Ireland.

The firm has partnered with Macmillan Cancer Support (in GB) and Friends of the Cancer Centre (NI) since it established the Welcome Break Charitable Fund in 2023, respectively raising £657,929 and £147,101.

Welcome Break will continue to support those charities until January 2027, and is opening applications for organisations to apply to take over their partnership status at the beginning of next year. Charities wishing to apply have until 27 February to do so.

Nicola Marshall, Welcome Break’s people director, paid tribute to Macmillan and Friends of the Cancer Centre, adding: “We can’t wait to see who will apply to be our partner from 2027 onwards and continue the impactful work together.”
