Shell UK has agreed terms to create a long-term relationship with the Swayfields Group under which it will take operational control of a package of filling stations across the UK. It will take new long-term leases on all Swayfields Group existing and new development motorway service area filling stations. Swayfields will continue to own the sites as landlord, in conjunction with the ownership of its MSA amenity buildings and hotels. The agreement includes nine operational motorway and trunk route service stations and five new forecourts that will open during '07/08 and early '09.
