Planning permission has been granted for a new forecourt to be constructed on a derelict plot of land that traded as a filling station many years ago
Historic images of the site, in Bradford, West Yorkshire, show it trading as a fuel station in the summer of 2012, but a year later it was home to a used car dealership.
The forecourt canopy and sales buildings were subsequently demolished between July 2023 and August 2024, while a planning application to build a brand-new PFS on the 0.49-acre site was submitted to Bradford Council in January 2025.

Those plans have now been approved, with consent granted for a new four-pump-island filling station to be built.
The garage will be served by two 75,000-litre double-skinned underground tanks, and will also feature two EV charging bays with an Alpitronic Hypercharger, plus two jet-wash bays and parking for 13 cars.
The forecourt shop, meanwhile, will cover 2,345sq ft, with 1,700sq ft given over to the sales area and the remaining floorspace earmarked for back-of-house facilities.
