Rollover, best known for its food-to-go hot dogs and significant presence in the UK forecourt sector, has branched out into pizza with the launch of Pizza Twists, which are folded, rather than flat, allowing for easier consumption on the go.
Available in margherita, and pepperoni variants, the Twists have been available since March and are made using dough stone-baked in Italy, with a recommended retail price of £3.50 – though retailers will need an on-site oven to be able to stock them.
Designed to tap into both the £3.1bn pizza market, and the £25.4bn food-to-go sector, Rollover’s general manager, Tony Owen, says the Twists are “designed to attract new shoppers and keep existing ones coming back”, adding: “Our new Pizza Twists answer the call for fun, reimagined formats that take pizza and hot food-to-go in exciting new directions.”
