Mondelēz International has unwrapped its festive range for 2025, which it says will help retailers drive seasonal sales.

There are new treats and some returning favourites for retailers to start stocking in September, with the confectioner advising a fast start with 25% of all Christmas confectionery sales coming in the first period of the season.

Mondelēz also points out that retailers should be preparing for the increase in big night in occasions, by stocking sharing formats, tablets and self-eat treats, as the weather gets cooler and shoppers look to spend more nights at home.

It says products like Cadbury Mini Snow Balls tablet and Cadbury’s Roses and Heroes – which both feaure new designs this year – appearing on shelves act as the first indicator of Christmas to shoppers.

It adds self-eat products are also key. Cadbury’s Puds range expanded last year with Mini Puds with a bitesize bag format for the first time. This year, clip strips are available for Cadbury Mini Puds.

This year, Mondelēz is also bringing something new to the advent countdown with Cadbury Dairy Milk Biscoff Advent Calendar, featuring 24 Cadbury Dairy Milk chocolates. Twelve of these are Cadbury Dairy Milk chunks, while the other 12 are Cadbury Dairy Milk chunks with crunchy Lotus Biscoff pieces and Biscoff spread.

There is also a Cadbury Dairy Milk Biscoff 350g chocolate block.

By December, Mondelēz says shoppers will be looking to make their final purchases in the run-up to the big day itself. It points to its selection boxes as ideal stocking fillers, alongside Cadbury Milk Tray.

There is also a nationwide roll-out of a Dairy Milk Mixed Chunks sharing tin, featuring individually-wrapped chunks of Cadbury Dairy Milk, Whole Nut and Caramel, as well as a 360g Cadbury Mini Snow Balls bar.

And finally, Mondelēz is bringing back a family favourite from Christmas 2023, with the return of Cadbury Dairy Milk Coins, which are also available in clip strips this year.

Nicole Partridge, senior brand manager for Christmas at Mondelēz International says: “We’re in a great position to spruce up retailers’ ranges this winter, with our much-loved seasonal range. Our iconic seasonal products allow consumers to tailor their festive snacking to their own requirements.”
